what's it worth?

So I'm putting a 701 yamaha engine into my 650sx. I purchased the Rahass mounts and pulled the 701 out of my wetjet. I would like to sell the 650sx engine with all the electronics, exhaust and intake to someone want to swap it into a 550. Of course all the bolts, motor mounts exc will go with it. I also have an extra stator, factory carb set up, factory exhaust I would like to throw in. My question is what's it worth?

Parts on engine:
Pjs exhaust
44mm carb w/ intake manifold
K&N filter
Oil pump block off plate
Boyesen power reeds
Perfect compression(factory head)

Just rough estimates but pretty close to market value:

Parts on engine:
Pjs exhaust -$250
44mm carb w/ intake manifold - $175
K&N filter - $35
Oil pump block off plate - $10, just include with the motor
Boyesen power reeds - $50
Perfect compression(factory head)

If the shortblock is clean, you are looking at $300ish and maybe $400ish as a longblock with stator, flywheel and starter.

I was thinking $500 for all of the parts listed above, I just didn't want to get laughed at for the price. I guess I will list it on the classifieds section.

To me those prices seem a lil high for peak season, off season in winter... 650 stuff might sit for some time.

Probably a little high for this forum, and off season, but pretty spot on if sold on PWCtoday. Plus it's always better to list high and negotiate down instead of starting lower and doin the same
