So, I know the matrix seams to be very popular what other jackets is everyone wearing. I have been looking at the jetpilot cellblock alot because of the lumbar support. Any feedback on this vest. I'm hoping to get one for fathers day because I lost my other vest.

I wear a crappy OTE vest that cost 40 bucks. Its fine for the sitdown, and is neoprene and relatively durable, however on the standup, it will chafe your arms because of all the movement. It keeps me afloat however. Get something else.

I had a cellblock that got "lost" at the Daytona Freeride in January. I went with the Matrix as a replacement and like it much better. The cellblock is neoprene and like he said it does rub under you arms and gives you a rash. It also seems to hold more water then the matrix does.

mine was $100 with free shipping. Little spendy, but I only ride lakes and if I'm gonna be strapped into a vest for an hour or two at a time, I want it to feel good on me and look good to some extent. I've been happy with mine so far. Doesn't ride up very easy, underarms have been rash free and floats me very well...

I got a matrix too, I love how it fits, but hate putting it on and even worse taking it off. I leave it buckled loose to put it on then cinch it up tight. to get it off I have to fight to find the buckles or find a hottie on the beach to assist me.

Other then that its great, does any one elses hold water in the front?

What's the deal with this underarm rash everyone keeps talking about? Been wearing an old 40 dollar neoprene ski vest for going on 4 years now and have never had any chaffing. It's the most comfy vest I've ever worn.

I had both JP and Slippery vests over the years. I love my matrix pull over however, I just bought another new JP side entry vest... friggin rocks!!!!

I've got a Fly racing pull-over - USCG approved, no chafing and allows me plenty of movement. I like it and the price is right.
