Super Jet What to use to reinforce RN superjet hull?

I've stripped down my entire ski, so I figure now is the time to reinforce for the surf. What is best to reinforce the hull? Im leaning towards carbon or kevlar but what ounce or pattern? I plan on ordering from US composites so if you could send an exact link or reference a specific type that would be great!

Thanks in advance.

Carbon and kevlar are over rated if you ask me. Unless you are very skilled with it, it'll probably end up weighing the same as glass. I'd do a layer or 2 of 12oz biax down the sides and 1708 for under the handlepole bracket area. Add or subtract depending on how hard you ride.

I'd do glass instead of carbon or kevlar. Glass is much easier to work with, a lot cheaper, and not all that much heavier. Plus, since you're in surf, you're not worried about weight.

I may be able to get the carbon or kevlar material for nothing.. so with the said maybe give that a whirl? Or just stick with the glass since its easier to work with?

carbon is hard to tell if u wet it out enough I just stripped the rn hull I got and it had a bunch of carbon in it amd I got it out really quick cause it wasnt wet enough to adhere to the hull but this hull had like 3 reinforcments it weighed 150 pounds just the hull no hood or nose piece no hardware it was heavy I yanked the tray foam and reinforce ment and got it to 75
