the mod allows you to ride for another 15 minutes on a tank. Considering the hours I spend wrenching, any time I can do something that will let me ride longer is time well spent.
I just used some heavy cloth/matt and filled the hole, sanded it smooth, and then thickened up some resin and layed it down to fill in all the imperfections, sanded that smooth, and painted over it.

i used fiberglass to get the hole filled.. then for finishing filling i used kitty hair body filler. its body filler with fiberglass strands in it. EXTREMELY strong. a bitch to sand but will hold up to so much.. then a touch of glazing to get it perfect. took very short amount of time. pays off for looks.. havent rode with it like this yet but it looks way cool
