FX-1 What to use as spacer for a 144 Cutback Prop on FX-1 shaft?

Hello,
I've been working on my FX-1 w/ a 144mm pump and SJ pump shoe. I've realized that I'm going to space the prop because the threads on the fx-1 shafts are different. Has anyone spaced this out yet? If so what did you use and what thickness? I know I coud trouble shoot it, but I figured if someone on here had done it before I could save mysef the headache. Thanks in advance.

I talked to dave at Impros about this. They have spacers in stock because racers sometimes add spacers to move the prop farther from the veins (to add RPM).

Dave also told me there shouldn't be any spacing problem when using the fx-1 shaft in the 144mm pump...... but I havn't installed my hooker yet

ok, thanks. i haven't gotten a new set of bearings to rebuild my pump yet. when i initially put the prop on it hit. i tapped the drive shaft forward a bit and it cleared and spun free, but i'm unsure if it will hit when i put new bearings and seals in. thanks for the response. btw, it is a 13/17 concorde cut back 3 mm

I did have to grind a high spot on the pump hub, as the base of the prop hit it when tightened down. Thought that was better than using a spacer.
