I've been acquire parts for my WB1 (my first Yamaha), and I have some choices to make. The ski will have a MSD enhancer running 62t electronics, 12/17 swirl, OP exit nozzle, JD grate, Riva groovy plate, Jetpro pipe, Coffman manifold, and Riva box.
The questions relate to the cylinder, carbs, head, and performance. Any thoughts and input is appreciated.
I have a 61x cylinder that is being bored over 1mm, a stock 62t, and 62t groupK ported at 83 bore. Which one should I run on my 62t cases. I'm looking for a quick wave/wake jumper.
I have dual38's and dual44's. The cases are not set-up with dual pulse fittings, but I can do that. Is it worth the effort to add the extra pulse line and the extra gas consumption to go with the 44's?
I have a Riva head with 701 35cc domes. If I run the 83mm GroupK cylinder will that head be OK on 93 octane and are those domes wide enough?
Lastly, how do you think this ski will perform with the modifications?
