650/X-2 what throttle cable to use??

just got my 750 in, has a stock mani and the cdk2...manifold has a bracket for throttle and choke but stock cable doesnt reach, what do you guys use??

throttle cable from a 750 I am guessing would work.

I am using the cable off the '94 XI SS my motor came from. The motor had a bracket on the front when I had the stock dual carbs. When I switched over to the R&D single carb intake, it had a mouting point on the manifold and I got one of those wheels with multiple mounting points.

Any stand up kawi cable should work. You'll just have to wrap the excess cable under the motor

You could get a surf brace and ziptie it to the brace, then it would run to the nose and back down the right side like a standup.

I have a brand new Kawi 800 cable. Can bring it to Daytona or ship it. It's new in the bag and I think I paid like $22 for it. PM me if you want it.

True that. Just like I do with my trim cable. It's a Sato trim made for the sxr. So I just run it down the brace.

Do they make a throttle bracket that fits on the fuel pump or diaphram like the mikunis? Been looking around, can't seem to find anything
