What size hole?

What size hole do I need to drill to mount my blowsion bilge fitting?

bilge holes are 1" i believe

that seems a bit conservative if you ask me, oh and make sure to cut it below the water line as well.:splatt:

1.25" hole, sealed with hot glue and I cut it right under the seam.

Hole saw? I thought you should use a jig saw. Or, if you have a 22 oz hammer, a swift pop usually gets you a close enough size hole. Just use subfloor adhesive to seal it good.

a hole?i thought you just let them hang inside the hull loosely!making a hole kind of negates the bilge pump don't it?
