Custom/Hybrid What should I use as a sealant around my pump?

Im trying to wrap up my fx1 pump swap and i just need to fill the spaces around the pump shoe where i left a bit of a gap. What should i use to bridge the gap in order to seal the water in and keep it flowing nicely. I figured some sort of silicone would work but I'm not really sure what to get. It would also be super helpful if its something i can buy at home depot or somewhere local so i can get everything done tomorrow since i leave for school saturday.

Thanks!

P.S. This pump swap has taught me a few things. Number one is that my ambitions far out do my actual skill. Ghetto pump swap would be an appropriate title. But it looks like it will all work at least.

I use Permatex clear silicone to seal the pump shoe to the hull. 5200 would probably work well yoo, but could make it a biatch to remove the pump to change props or bearings. Either way, you need to have a perfect seal between the pump shoe and hull or you'll have cavitation.

Much to my surprise Home Depot actually carries 3M 5200. Hopefully i can get this ski done tonight assuming I decide not to go into work for a bit.
Thanks guys
