What Should i check first?

Ok Guys i just took my (New to me) 91 Superjet out today. It has an aftermarket pipe and some other odds and ends. Anyways Thing was running like a bat out of hell. I had a smile from ear to ear. Ran 2 tanks of gas through it everything was running amazing. filled up the tank half way for one last run before i wanted to go clean up for work. Everything fine, Ended up rolling the ski. Anyways got back on it and started to go but it wouldnt pull me up would just bog down. So i limped back to the dock (not far away) Loaded it up on my trailer and pulled the hood. Looked like one of the spark plugs had come loose. Tighted it up and checked the other. unloaded off trailer and same thing. No power. So i loaded it up and pulled it out. I checked the compression and both where showing around 160 to 165. What could i have done? What should i check? What should i try? Thanks Guys

I'd pull both plugs, lay them on the head, and make sure both are firing strong. If they are, you may want to check the carb for water. Some could've made its way inside the carb itself and causing problems. A quick clean of the internals should solve that problem.

Battery Terminals where tighten down really good. I just tighten them at first, tried it and still limp mode feeling. When i got home i changed spark plugs the ones i pulled out look pretty black :x. It did seem to idle smooth. The pisser was still pissing. I cant check anything really till tomorrow. i cant get back to the lake till then. Thanks guys. Like i said it was running amazing for a few hours.

when you rolled it how much water got in the ski? you might have gotten water in your gas. if so, you will need to pull the carb apart, blow out all your lines, and change your gas.

Just to give you a guys an update. Took the SJ out today. (new spark plugs) Didnt have a problem at all. Hopefully the Spark plugs just got fouled. Will see with more riding , but so far fixed :D Thanks for advice.
