what ride plate/nozzle

Im looking for a ride plate to give me better bottom end. Im running a stock engine, 9/17 prop,ww cone, was thinkin a reduction nozzle and some type of ride plate? can anyone help?

ride plates dont give you bottom end. they have nothing to do with bottom end. hahahahahah

What do you mean you were "thinking" about a reduction nozzle? You cant ride your ski without one.

no, you dont get it. ride plates have nothing to do with bottom end or top end, they have to do with handling. unless your ride plate has a 12 inch extension pushing the nose down under water, then that would affect speed. but in your case it has no relevance.

The Rius Ride plate is a race plate, it is going to keep the nose planed more than a std R&D plate.

You could bore your reduction nozzle to about 84-85mm and you would notice some more bottom end hookup............

Pipe, Prop Pitch, Compression and Carberation setup is what controls your bottom end power.............
