FX-1 What pump are you currently running on your FX-1?

Doesnt matter how much of a pain it is, its sooooo worth it

depends on you skills, getting the pump height / angle correct takes the most time

well, you could spend a day cutting away at the hull and boring the pump shoe, or you could spend $650 and send the pump and a FX-1 driveshaft to bonzai Bob to have it welded. I guess how you spend your time/money is up to you

BTW don't even consider going through blowsion, they charge $1349, where as bonzai bob does the same work for 650

you need to either epoxy and bore the stock pump shoe, or install a superjet 144mm pump shoe which is cleaner, but a lot more work

Question I have an 01 sj rn, what size pump is stock and is it just a matter of pushing more water out of a bigger pump for more thrust? Is that what it is all about? And what is the cheapest way to upgrade my situation? Thanks, any info would be great.
