300/440/550 What octane should I use?

I got a 650 motor I'm in the process of breaking down and rebuilding.

It has a 25cc dome ocean pro head, I think stock bore - what gas should I be using?

Also does anyone have any idea where I can buy NEW engine hardware I want to replace all the bolts, nuts etc.

In my old 650, it was ported with high compression pistons, dual carbs and had a pipe and i ran premium mixed 50/50 with race gas

im pretty shure with the high comp, u should run 93, or so, depending on your compression ratio, and thickness of your head gasket. you should probably be fine running high test pump gas tho.


engine hardware........local ski salavage yard, busted donor motor, you mite be able to piece together all the hardware with stainless pieces from some marine supply store or local hardware store
