What Mikuni carb is this?

It was sold to be as SBN46 off a Wetjet.

The bolt pattern is identical to that of a 44 SBN.
The number on the throttle plate is identical (120)

The opening on the manifold side is identical to that of a 44SBN as well.

The pics are of a Wetjet carb, but if you got a 44, then he shipped the wrong one. He must have mixed it up with one of his other auctions.

What in that pic identifies it as a Wetjet carb?
What I got in front of me looks just like what's in the picture.

I have a Wetjet 44 I can go look at and take the s ame pic if needed, but the spacing looks wider in the ebay pic.

The manifold bolt holes should be further apart than a Yamaha 44.
I have wetjet 46's on my motor and the holes had to be opened up a bit.

so wait a second..... so oem 44's and the wetjet 46 have different bolt spacing, but oem 44's and aftermarket 44's don't share the same spacing do they? Theaftermarket 44's and aftermarket 46's are the same (I assume the wetjet 46 is a regular aftermarket mikuni?)

The Wet Jet 46's do indeed have to holes spaced further apart.

Nevermind... I searched and cleared it up for myself...

oem yamaha and aftermarket mikuni (44 and 46) share the same spacing.. it's only the wetjet 46 that is different. And going on that Matt, you have a 44 if the spacing is the same.

Unfortunately, yes.
I have contacted the seller with the discrepancies.
It's a nice looking carb, but not what was advertised.

hey, I have heard that there were 2 carbs that were used on the wetjets. cannot varify this, I think one is same spacing with a regular X manifold while the other uses the wetjet manifold with the wider spacing.

I have heard this as well, but it's still not a 46 as advertised.

I bought a wetjet carb and intake last year, and when it arrived it was gold, and a 44.

probably the same stuff, only CERTAIN wetjet engines had that 46mm carb, Ill try and find the thread.
