What kind of paint for cylinders?

I might have to step up to the plate! Did you just use the self etching primer first? I'm not up for blasting of any kind.

Stripped the cylinders with stripper. Then used the ground coat which is the primer. Then two light coats and one heavy of the color. I could have stepped it up a notch and sanded the casting imperfections out but hey you gotta stop somewhere.
