Looks a lot more than -2... It's not finished though so have faith that they will put a nice plate on there prior to it seeing water.

It's a minus 2 hull. I'm the one puttin' the plate on...and I am debating how much to cut off. The pic has a stock '08 rideplate, I was thinking about taking a couple inches off to start with until I progress out of the "wearing diapers stage" while riding this ski.

I chopped my SJ hull to -3 and cut the plate to about a half inch longer than the hull. I'm about a 160 lbs and it might be a little much for me but it's still fun. I think -2 would be better because it takes me too long to get moving again after a tight turn to get back to my setup wake. I certainly wouldn't leave any more than about 1.5" longer than the hull.

This boat also has a lamey pv ~900 cc motor with total loss up under the hood. :bigok:
