lol...
No offense FPF.

But this road has been traveled, dug up, traveled again, and re-paved with speed bumps, DOT signs and orange cones.

A search might be in order.

BTW: I run straight gas. Oil is for wussies.

in 2002 i had a bad a$$ x2. i got some AV gas and beat the crap out of it all day and it was rippin! that night, at 3 AM my eyes popped open and i remembered that i didnt add any oil to the AV gas. i think it was the massive ammounts of lead in that stuff that saved the motor.

You're never gonna hear, "this oil is best for every application that involves a stand-up PWC" . It's just not gonna happen. Everybody has a favorite oil.
My best advise, without telling you what I use, is to use what your riding bud with the least engine issues uses.

Not the generic Wally world stuff.... please! (wasted crank-personal experience circa 1989) lol

I use the penzoil stuff and haven't had any issues. But I am running a stock bore 61x with head and pipe at 190 psi. Seems like the more you spend on a motor the more you better spend on oil. That is if you want to keep it running.

2nd vote for Supertech from Walmart - no issues. Guess if I had a big $ motor I would use what the builder said. Til then I will save my money!

I think the more important question is what weight of 2 stroke oil do you use!!! Everyone seems to blow this off........

When I prepare to ride: I fill three 5 gallon gas cans as well as my truck, beer-up the cooler, ice and some food etc....

It's $100.00 +/-.

This is the point where I question the thriftyness of cheap oil. A gallon jug of (what I consider) good oil is $27.00.

If I were to use cheap oil, and my crank siezed....then I could not justify the purchase of beer and ice. This is very simple to me.

Treat your motor to the good stuff, and you will be able to have a beer without the worry of a re-build.

Wrench less/more fun.
