300/440/550 What jets in a sbn44 on a 440

What jets are people running in their 440s with a single sbn44. this ski is running stock bore and compression with a prop and a pipe.I've read the standard mikuni jetting of 100 pilot, 125 main, 2.3 n/s with a 65gram spring for a pop off of 15psi is a good place to start. let me know what you think

seems like a big carb for just a 440 with stock comp and a pipe......

Im thinking the same thing but its what we have and willing to give it a try. theres lots of posts on the other site of people using them but nothing on their setups.

I wouldnt run a 44 on a 440. I know some people said they have made it work but when I tried to tune it on one before it wouldnt tune for crap. Im guessing the signal is just not there to tune it for low end. Put a 38 sbn on there and you will have all the performance you need and will be 10x easier to tune

so we bolted on the 44 just cause we had one. It was off a stock 61x superjet and the thing ran incredible. Not bogging and some crazy top end power for an old 440.I know surprised me too.
