Super Jet What is the smallest usable carb for a 701

What is the smallest usable carb for a 61x 701.
I ask because I have never been able to get my ski running on with the carb that came with my ski. I have a 94 61x 701 in a RN. Ski runs great on a friends 46 but no mater what I do I just cant get it running good enough on my 44.
Motor is stock other than an MSD ignition and sn water box

The stock 44 should work great.

My first 701 was dialed in with an OEM 44 and ran pretty decent. I later purchased a Mikuni 46 for it but never could get it dialed in. Unfortunately I had to move and ended up selling the ski and carb to Munki63 before I could figure it out.

I would think the 46 would be better though.

I may still have the 44 Jetting specs around here somewhere..

EDIT: Nope. they were written on the cover of my service manual which I apparently sold.

great thanks guys, at least I know that this carb should work. I am going to take my last shot at it within the next couple days. hopfully it will work, other wise it will be sitting for awhile longer till I can pay someone to help. thanks again

sing it buy jet works so you can put it in the tank (i know its no longer jetworks, i dont care) or hit up sticks or john for some help!

Ya theres no way I could afford to take it up there but I will be talking to them if this last try doesn't work out.
