Other What is all the YELLOW stuff in 93 pump gas ethanol ?

When you pump Hess, Sunoco and Murphy USA 93, half of it flows very yellow out the nozzle ? I noticed that Chevron 93 is clear ? Just wondering is it additives or ethanol, anyone know for sure ?

As it absorbs water, or is exposed to sunlight, it turns yellow. Go to the place with clear gas.
When I last cleaned my boat motor carb it had what looked like coquina sand in the bowl area. But when I grabbed some and rubbed it between my thumb and forefinger it was more like little beads of yellow jelly.

any marina will have it......st. aug sold it til 3 months ago at the sunoco by the highway, but no more


marina only, or they have 110 at the pump too for 8 bucks a gallon

Near me there are a couple stations "on the street" (near boat ramps) that have a "rec gas" pump.... muscle car owners use them too.

Highly recommend for 93 octane users.
