I am sure I am going to have more questions but what grit paper do I need to use before I lay the primer? Does any one know a website that has some good write ups on painting prep ect? I have read through all the threads in the tech section.

I'd recommend 2-part epoxy primer because it's hard to sand through and it adheres very well.

320 or 400 grit with an orbital palm sander would be fine if the primer is going over it.

your on the right track, wet sand with 400 and then after clear, if you need to take out any orange peel wet sand with 1500 or if its a darker color use 2000 grit then buff it out and itll be lookin sweet.
