what every running for uscg aproved vests nowadays

Is that neoprene or part of ? If so does it absorb some water and get heavier like one I have that is seldom used anymore for that reason.

It absorbs a bit but I've never noticed it to be bothersome or problematic.

Do you all prefer neoprene or nylon?

Ive always thought that the neoprene was much easier against my skin and didnt notice any cons.

Im about to buy two PDF's and am pretty set on the JetPilot Apex Side Entry Neoprene model.
