What does a D cut do?

I can't speak for blaster riders...


Even if you feel that the nose is held up a bit by d-cutting your ride plate.....please tell me what you have accomplished as a result of that.

I'll bet that it's not more than you could have done with a stock plate.

I know there is prob enough opinions here but here's mine. D cut is 100% noticeable. D cutting your plate exposes more of your pump/turn nozzle to the water for more effect/response just like a set back mag or shortening your hull....... and yes you can ride with no plate. Rock took my whole plate once and I rode aprox 2 miles back up river. Talk about nose high though!

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I agree with the comment suggesting increased predictability when inducing a slide and steering response.

I have done back to back swaps before and do notice quite a difference.
Easier to carve/control, a bit easier to flip.

I would be considered I bigger rider...and I really didn't like running the D-Cut...I lasted about 5 min before I put the stock back on

I think the issue was rider skill not the plate!

I hated the d-cut on my sn before I ran sponsons, with the sponson's I loved it

D cut only works if you're barefoot and strapped otherwise you need the E cut.

I dont like them, but I ride flat water, It caused nose to drop and my tail to go high when I was rolling.

I likely will. And to be honest about it; I decided that the d-cut is worthless (for me) a long time prior to many of my engine mods.

Also, I ask all to forgive my over-opinionated, beer influenced, nicotine withdrawn posts.
Still not a big fan of the mod, but .... sorry for pushing it.
