I don't have a good picture. But my start stop switch is slightly cracked open because of the bars. The clinic did whatever they did to it, not sure if they siliconed it or what. But whatever they did the switch has been fine.

Blowsion bar extenders work well, for fitting all your components

I have risers and like them, but it makes re-boarding the ski more difficult since even my long arms can't get the elbows on the sides right to pull up. So i push the tray down, put a knee in and reach up and grab the bars and go now, it sure helps.
Coming from a MX background I keep wondering why bars are straight anyway, my wrists don't like it, so I just got a set of carbon fatty's for sleds, straight but they taper back instead of dead straight, hope I like them!

I have extra wide straight bars from ATP. Can't remember the exact width but its almost 2" wider than standard and matches my shoulder width perfect. Anything narrower just feels wrong now.

As previous members admit. A lot depends on your setup. If your pole is too short, risers are able to give you the extra inches that you might need. Fat-bars such as RRP use specific steering that can get expensive, although Cold Fusion makes an affordable setup.
BTW: I have have 75 mm RRP riser laying around.

I have this same ATP setup, at first it felt strange being so wide but now I can't stand narrow bars.

I agree Totally with the wrist comment . Straight bars are just NOT ergonomic IMO and kill my wrist. I like risers and boarding has not been a problem in the surf . Just grab the rails slide in a knee .... Simple . Never understood the elbow mounting thing.

As far as fit you either need wider bars or open the hole on your start stop switch ( that's what I did ) . RRP extenders work well and solve the problem, but the Inside ID of RRP bars are smaller than most AM bars so the extenders usually won't work.

My official cold medicne insomnia 2 cents.
