What cdi should i use?

Bought a 92 sx 750 the other day but it needs a cdi. the motor has had alot of work done to it so i was wondering if there is a he performance cdi i should get. The motor is bored to 760, has r&d 27cc head and a factory pipe. was told it has after market carbs. other than that it could have other things done to the motor that im unaware of but it is all numbered for racing so i assume its setup for high performance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Or just run the timing advance plate in it, and run the stock CDI.

OR, as I had my 94 750sx set up, msd enhancer, AND timing advance plate....

just installed an msd enhancer myself. quick and easy. helped out a bit too

Does a MSD CDI with no rev limit make a huge difference?
Is it a little power gain or is it night and day difference??

a difference, not NIGHT and day.

there is more benifit to the enhancer than simply increased rev limit, stronger spark, and better timing curve also.

the chart has been posted on this site about 29 times.
