Buckshots have a lingering reputation for being good racing carbs - meaning they perform well at full throttle operation, but have weak signal (and thus not optimal performance) on the bottom end.

I'd look for something else.

what company is notorious for freestyle carbs. And is the intake worth the price, since i will need to get it for the carbs anyway or do u need for a specific application of 44's 46's or 48's

I have a TLR 48 which has been pretty easy to tune and hits very nice. You will need the riva conversion plate with any kawi 650 44mm intake. If you are running a 46 or 48, just open it up to match your carb. It seems like the ATP is supposed to be the best manifold, but they are expensive.

he pm'd me with that offer. Are the sbn's worth over say black jacks, full spectrum and riva. I just dont know the difference between them.

Selling a set of Blackjacks. Great condition. Haven't been used by me (had them for a while) so may not be a bad idea to rebuild them to be sure they're fresh. Questions welcome.

Good deal, great carbs.

Matt E u seem to be a big supporter of blackjacks. i am thinking of getting them, and i was wondering what kind of intake manifold i will need for them. Also since the guy selling them isnt sure if they are 46's or 44's does the manifold needs to be the specific size or they are somehow adjustable? thanks man

A stock intake manifold for a 760 will work, as will any aftermarket intake manifold for 96 and up Superjet.

Many aftermarket manifolds are large enough already for up to 48 or 49 mm, but if it isn't, you simply grind it bigger. Easy stuff.

I am running dual 46 SBNs on my 84.25 setup. They hit great and run out well. Another guy in our group has nearly the same setup and is running blackjack 46s and they hit awesome. They do not seem to have the old rich bog condition that you get with SBNs if you lay them over fuel pump side down.

If you want inexpensive go with the 46 team scream setup or get that set of Blackjacks. Full specs are the shizinit but they are very pricey..

With price out of the way, Full Spectrums are absolutely the best. Very resposive to jet changes. Call Ed Brezina and tell him your setup and your riding style. When you get them from him they will be set up for your ski. He will send you both pilots and mains 1 step up and 1 down. I highly reccomend the complete package with the boyesen setback triple reed intake. The intake manifold is recessed to pull the reed cages away from the crankshaft turbulence. The reed cages are longer and have a three petal setup providing more flow and volume.

The only drawback to these carbs is the fuel consumption. :beerchug:They use a lot of fuel...but we aren't here to save the world now are we.

Ok so i figure if i want single i got to have the x cases and it doesnt make sence to go with a single on T cases, so i might as well go with the dual 46's. last question what is th team scream web site, i have been looking for it for days
