what carbs are these

I was told these were mikuni 46's. the don't measure out to be 46's, they measure 44.41mm at the bottom. it seems as though the f/a adapter is made into the carb and does not come off. the f/a adapter also is a smooth bore and continues about half way into the carb throat. are these blackjacked 44's or something along those lines? if so what are they worth?

sorry about the picture quality i took ithem with my phone

buckshots - they are race carbs

They are probably worth ~$100 each, at least thats what I sold some for recently

word! they worked pretty good on my 750 small pin but i havent tried them on a 701.. i know alot of guy's use the same ventury when they mod stock mikuni's for yami's so i would think they would work ok?

yup buckshots . they work ok mid to top.but low end is hard to dial in. they use fuel like crazy. your better off with 44's then 46's with a buckshot. they do work nice on kawe 750's. i have a set of 46's on my ss superjet. they work good but i am the 1st person out of gas!!

They hit hard, but were a little tough for daily use - read this thread

apparently they work great if you convert them to blackjacks for $170 each

ya the BJ are the bomb! but if you call art and see what he charges for a new set off 44BJ's is it really worth the $$ to mod them? id flip the BS's and with all the gas you will be saving use it toward a new set of BJ's from art...

going back to that thread supertune said to stick with oem 46's and ive heard really good results about those too..

I always thought my Buckshots were 44's. By looking at your pic it looks like they are smaller than mine, I must have 46's. I need to measure mine now.

yes i think you did. i still have like 4 sets of them lol . i keep getting more. i like them you can find a nice set pretty cheap. then again i have just about every carb made!! a stock set of 46's work the best all around IMO. nice to tune. once you dial them in your done.

supertune uses mikuni aftermarket 46's, not oem 46's

:trink26::friday: what? lol

i will not be using stock 46's I have a trick up my sleeve to mod the 46's.

on another note these buck shot 44's are forsale, they are very clean inside and out. screws all turn freely. pm me for price, i will be posting them in the forsale thread too.

i think supertune told surfersmurf to run oem 46's for his appliction as far is if they are junk you would know better then me if you have every carb known to man lol jk

good luck selling the BS carbs let us know what you get, if your looking for something i have a set of AM taperboard 46's i might sell to get a set of BJ's
