What are these called and where can I buy them?

Alright so I'm probably asking a stupid question but figuring several people here can give me a smart answer. I've been trying to find these quick connect fittings and can't seem to find them. Guessing I'm just using the wrong search terms and looking in the wrong places? Some help would be awesome!

This is what I used for my 3/8 cooling hoses. Should get you going in the right direction

I’m a big fan of those! They are made by Colder Products. Be careful ordering, some of the older series are no longer available and the newer stuff is incompatible with the older stuff.

I believe thrust or blowsion used to make the quick disconnects like that with restrictor pills in so you can fine tune your cooling system. I use the non restrictor version from mcmaster on my ski and it makes getting the water lines on and off a breeze when removing the pipe or engine.

Thanks @mikesx ! All the fittings on Colder website. Thanks @john zigler , do you carry the ones with the check valves in them?

I am not aware of any with a check valve. We do have some restrictor pills in them for water flow tuning;

Hot products has them with and without the check valve. I had these on my ski, i did notice they restrict flow to a certain degree. The ones with check vavle are nice for inlet cooling b/c you can disconnect them quick if you are going to tow the ski, elimnates risk of pump forcing water into motor when towing.

I think what Benny is referring to is whether it is a flow thru or shut off when disconnected, not check valve. I use both. Flow thru for pissers (which I also flush thru). The only place I use shut off is for my EXTERNAL flush connection so I can see when the guts pop out which has happened a few times over the years.

Shicks does bring up an excellent use of shut off connects internally for the cooling feed disconnection for towing.

Yes this is correct. I used the term check valve but this is incorrect as it allows flow in both directions when connected. It is a shut off valve that shuts off when disconnected. CPC makes the same fittings both valved and non valved. I would think for most disconnects used in the cooling system you would want non valved.

What I was actually looking for these for is to add a quick disconnect point for flushing and winterizing with antifreeze. I already have a ski set up with one of the male connectors with built in shut off valve and a couple of female attachments both with and without a shut off that I can use for flushing and antifreeze. I am planning to add a valved male fitting to each of my skis to have everything with the same connections to make winterizing quicker and easier on myself.

Thanks to all the help here I found exactly what I was looking for! I was able to find the exact fittings I was looking for on CPC's website, both valved and non valved, to match my existing fittings. Then I ended up getting them from Fresh Water Systems. For those that are curious, here's what I got.

Thanks for the input everyone!
