what am I doing wrong?! cant get the ski running right.

I have an rn with a 62t/62 bored to a 760, mild cylinder and case porting, 175psi head, prok fa's, stock 38s, carbon tech reeds, b pipe with blaster chamber (4mil restrictor in Stinger sprayer, top screw 1/4 turn out, single cooling)

So my problem is and has been that it loads up in lower throttle/rpm, runs ok up top. Ive gone from 75pilots all the way down to 67.5s. Which seemed to help but didn't fix it. I then got a lean bog at idle to wot. So I dropped my pop off from 25psi to 21psi. Again seemed to help but didn't fix that totally either. Ive gone all over the place with the screws and had little success, and made the idle much worse lol, which is what I expected I guess lol. I'm runing 137.5 mains BTW.

So what am I missing here? Carbs were rebuilt end of last year, comp and plugs look good? Reeds? Plug wires? Any help would really be apreciated!

Your pop off seems to low for dual 38's...and if it's getting better by leaning out the pilots than kinda leads me to believe the same.

I'd put a 70/75 pilot in with a 1.5 needle and seat, 95g spring and see how it runs

Just my 2 cents

Your loading up at low rpm just off idle because your popoff is too low, u tried to compensate for that by reducing your pilot, which helped off idle response but your pilot is now too small so now anything off idle upto wot has a lean condition.

Increase the pop off, and raise your pilot back up and I bet you'll be in much better shape.

For kicks look up the factory mod blaster pipe instructions for the dual carb 701 and see what jetting they recommend.

I run that same suggested jetting in an all stock 62t/62t with similar mods as u and it rips, last year I battled similar things that your dealing with.
