Wetsuits for tall people, questions

I'm looking to buy a wetsuit, my problem is not many company's make suits for taller riders. I'm 6'6" 250lbs. Where can I get a good suit that fits me and not break my bank account. I'm looking to get a shorty and a long suit. There has to be somebody else that has the same problems finding suits that fit right. My question is what suits are out there that the taller riders wear?

I'm 6' 185 lbs and I wear an XL full suit. You will probably need XXL-Long if they even make it.

You can look at getting one custom made. I have a buddy that works at white's and he's hooking me up with a sweet custom one. It's made for wakeboarding, it has the normal outershell, but it fits kinda snug, and then in all joints and areas with movement their is neoprene. It's a really nice suit, I used his before and loved it. I have just a normal dry suit that is just the normal shell, but find it really bulky and annoying. Plus the custom suit comes with a little tighter and heady duty seals so when you smack the water good, their not as likely to let water in.

i have the spring suit and if i had to do it over again i would just get the full suit and forget the spring suit. by the time you dont want to wear the wetsuit it will be warm enough to go without one.

I'm 5'11, wear a standard XL size and it's fits perfect.

Hello, I have the same problem. I am 6'8 250. I got an xcel wetsuit cause i surfer friend of mine said they run really tall. It fits great, although they are not usually in stores. Just order xxl-tall online. I called their head office in hawaii when the head office in canada said they didnt import xxl-t into canada. The lady in hawaii was great, sold me a wetsuit at dealer price cause of the shipping. I got a 3/2 suit and it has been great, for about 200$usd.

I am about 6'4" 190lbs. I wear a slippery XL. It fits pretty good.

My brother in law is 6'5 and 250lb and he wears a quicksilver 3mm fullsuit he got whiskeymilitia for 100$.

they usually make an xlt and an xls-xtra large tall and xtra large short..

I bought an Xcel today and it fits great. Its an XXL. It was even 30% off. Thanks cleetus for the heads up.

Great news. Like i said I had a helluv a time trying on wedgee suits and considered a custom one at 500$+. The Xcel fits great and I got great service from their head office.

i'm 6'4" 205 and wear a xlt oneill. they run long and strong and they like to get the friction on.
