lol i was in board shorts and a life jacket yesterday..... and the day before.... and only had a surf skin on last week. so im thinking 3 mil. heck i was in boar shorts at wave rave when people i knew with 2/3's on were trying to fin hooies to wear because they were cold.

In Danish summer, water temp 55-68f i ride a gul 3/2mm w chest entry, 68 and above, shorty w chest entry or only board shorts and vest. 55-32f gul 6/5/4 chest entry, so warm! Way better than my dry suit before!

Here's a picture of my coworker and friends surfing the Great Lakes last winter with -25*C windchill. 6/5/4's with 8 mm boots, and mitts...

I stick to a 5/4 for "sane" early and late season riding.
