Other Wetsuit Thickness

What thickness wetsuit should i get to ride in the CA delta year around? I am a really thin guy and get cold pretty easy.

I used to live in Cali but I am not sure how cold the delta gets. I know that I typically have suits for the full season here in Florida...

For surfing:

I have 2 mill jacket, 3/2 full suit, 3 mil shorty as well...i used them all....I am the last guy out of the wetsuit and the first guy in it:) sucks really

For Cali...I used a 4/3 for a long time...With the new suits, I just have a 3/2 Excel front zip that works very well but is a few seasons old. I still get cold though.

I have been thinking about getting one of the suits that have warmers in them or possibly go to a 4/3 when it's really cold. Of course I have split toe booties, gloves, and a cap when its really cold...The cap works pretty well actually....

Just some thoughts...

Quality is just as important as thickness. Some off brand cheapo 4/3 is probably not as warm as a quality 3/2 and a whole lot less flexible. In your situation, I'd buy a good quality 4/3 surf suit

I use an Oneill Epic 4/3 surf suit for late/early riding in Ohio. Keeps my body temp quite comfortable with ~45-50 degree water and air temps. Usually don't ride in colder weather than that.
