Wet bike ?

There is this Wet Bike frozen in the ground and for sale cheap up here and I wondered if any one has ever ridden one. It looks cool just for nestalga reasons. Looks like a Suzuki motor and this thing looks like it might even weigh more that a 3D !! It could never be as fast or handle on rails like one of those monsters but is it fun for $500.00

Yea there fun,had 2 back in the day and if it wasn't a space issue would still have the tomcat

I took one out one time and hated it....it could be fun for a little while once you got the hang of it, but was tough for me. Funny to get your buddys on and laugh at them falling down a bunch.

now jumping waves on a wetbike thats real skill!!!!, buddy had/has one i think his dad locked the motor up on it or somthing, i know hes giving it away if your interested, doesnt run but everythings there i think

I had one back in the day. Fun for a few hours. They have a Suzuki outboard motor in them.
Kind of like a stock blaster. Fun to ride while your learning. then its time for more motor/power.

they could be made to go faster.
plenty of aftermarket back in the day.pipes,carbs,intake manifolds,reeds etc...

Rode both the 50 hp and the 60 hp. Both feel slow at first but the 60 hp gets decent top end. Enough to feel scary at full throttle, but then again this might have to do with the fact that your sitting so high above the water.

For 500$, Id pick one up.

I have one in my shop - http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/23587 - kinda fun for the first time, probably never ride it again. You can have it, has no title, runs, you have to pick it up though.
