western new york guys(erie and shataqua(spl)

Me and a buddy maybe heading up to western NY sat night to stay at a friends cabin, he says its 10 mins from erie and 25 from shataqua(spl), any you guys familiar w/ that area? looking for info on riding spots and if anyones going out sunday?

I'm about 45 minutes north of Chataqua Lake, and about 2 minutes from Lake Erie.

Where will you be staying (town)?

i was told the closest town is jamestown, iv never been to NY nor has my buddy so were kinda clueless, we were just gonna look for water and drop in..........

Jamestown is a haul from Lake Erie... well, not a haul, maybe 1/2 hour... not too bad

I think there is at least one marina at the end of 394 at Lake Erie...

we'll be staying in ripley ny witch is just passed the pa/ ny border on 90

Barcelona is near Chataqua... very nice marina..

I'm not sure what's in Riply, but I'm sure there is a place to launch.

sweet i dont think theres in riply, infact im sure thats why he bought this property, they're big into quads and jeeps and so its kinda their escape, me and my buddy are just gonna use it as a excuse to ride somewhere else!

you can jump on the 90 east, take it to the Westfield/Mayville exit... head west on 394 straight to Lake Erie at Barcelona... should be an fast easy ride form Riply.
