I might run into the same "problem" if I get my ski back together before long. This is what I posted on wavejunkies. Thoughts?

You are going to want a spot that spits out a comfortable temperature. I would venture to guess that in water below 60deg, you could pinch one incoming water line, pinch the line going from head to pisser, then T off between your head and pipe. And on a stock motor that still is not warm enough in water below 50-ish so I was running a reducer to let the water warm up inside the motor longer before it came out to the T. Your setup might run a bit warmer I dont know. This might be a good post for x-h2o...

You might be able to avoid a reducer and T off after the headpipe but some people say that water is grimey and can get too hot...

You should tap in the pisser line for a line to your suit .you don't want to tap anywhere that it could affect your cooling so the pisser is on the way out and should be safe
I have the same year SJ with single cooling and I tapped from the pisser to the handlebars .
Drilled and tapped the bars and put a pipe fitting in there and ran my hot water to that .
I don't know where you would block one of though .
here's a quick pic of my hand warmer bars

I tried the hoses hanging out and spraying on your hands but it doesn't work at all for me , it sometimes sprays on your hands and other times not at all depending on wind and speed of ride .
You can feed the water line through your handle pole too so it's nice and clean .

No one even knows I have this until I start my boat and the water comes squirting out of my handle bars .
The look on peeps faces at daytona when i started my boat and back flushed it was priceless .
Looks like a nice fountain :Banane01:

come on mouthfulloflake you can do better than that

drilling and tapping your handle bars is the best way .the water goes in your handle bars and you drill holes for each finger and thumb too .drill smaller holes and go bigger until you get it right for you .

This will not work if your grips move around at all so ODI'S are highly recommended or any grip that has a lock to keep it in place :Banane01:

The water pressurizes your bars and heats up your whole handle bars and comes out of each hole you drill and it works mint man .
there is no better way :headbang:

It took about 15 minutes to do the job

I splice mine into a latex tube that runs up my arm to my chest. My whole suit (including gloves somewhat) fills with a nice warm flow of water and disconnects easy if I lose it. Leave enough slack in the hose coming out of the pole and you can squirt it on your face or wherever. I just can't run WOT for longer than a couple seconds :firedevil:. (I never thought I'd used that smiley!)

But the question is where to tap in at w/dual cooling and how best to get the motor warm up a little if need be?

the loose hoses work just fine for me, im sure its better going thru the bars, it would be better with a 200 HP engine too.

the loose hoses spray me where ever I point them, hands, face, chest, feet, where ever.

I did jump a boat wake and got a mouthfull of that hot exhuast water, it about made me hurl.

I.

how do you get them tp spray where you want them to .??
They look like just rubber hose to me ,how do they stay in place ??
I tried it ,didn't work :headbang: ,the hoses just spray where ever they want not where I wanted ,you must have some special hose there .

there are zip ties holding them right under the pad, and I can push the hoses in or pull them out, that allows me to control it some. I had some small plastic tuning with the ends crimped also to make it like a mist.

Im not sure what your beef is, but suck it.

it works for me.
you cant argue with that, you can try.

your way is better, great, you want a fukin cookie?

yeah, see, your logic and your verbage are wrong there.

who in the hell are you to decide if it works for me or not?

you could have said " it didnt work for me"

instead you said " it doesnt work"

so suck it!

haha

See, I rode in the cold.

warm water sprayed my hands, my face, my chest, my feet, it was very pleasant.

felt like a warm bath after I would fall and get cold, and then get going again, it quickly warmed me back up.

So, tell me again how it doesnt work?

I mean really?

please explain in detail to me, how it does not work?

IM guess that what you are trying to say was " I didnt prefer the way the water came out"

but instead you said it doesnt work?

I dont like Blue cars.

But im not going to say " blue cars dont work"

did I mention suck it?
