so my daughter got her x-mas present, a minty fresh 90 with her name on the handlepole. Bone stock for now.... Withthe help of some granite state skiiers we already have a spare motor to work with. Also hunted down a mariner pipe.... Thinking to port the motor, reeds, mill the head and maybe switch up to a sbn38. Got thoughts to make a 500 single out of the motor via a stroke and sleeve.
I know its a lot to put into a little ski, but my daughter is 13 and keeping the light weight ski light makes sense, plus I like building the motors. All of what i had plans for is cheap except for the crank stroke and an impeller. Her 300sx is so light sompared to my 800, i dont know the actual wt but it feels much less.
Does anyone know if a 550 pump will bolt in to the stock mountinng pads? Propshaft the same? That would save me the hassle of a 300sx 12/16 pump. The 550 pumps are plentiful and cheap and if I go with the stroker wont boil.
My daughter Bella is 13 and already knows she doesnt want a sit down.... Ive done something right
