weird bondline break

Got tossed sideways off a double up wake and ended up slapping pretty good on the side, seems like the hull broke in what should have been the strongest point? Sorry the pics suck (iphone), it broke straight through the bondline but stopped at the corner of the hull on both top and bottom halves.

looks like the side caved/flexed in and put axial compression loading on the bond rail.

I am going to guess the damage is not isolated to just the bond rail. Sound the hull above and below the bond line and even on the other side in that same general area.

wow, check the inner hull liner too bro. That sucks for sure.

I looked it over briefly right after the carnage and didn't see any other real cracks on the inside or out. I will get in there with a flashlight and really check things over eventually but my streetfighter project has been taking up all my time and now that it is pretty much done it's time to put on some miles.

The only time I've seen a crack there the ski cracked in half across the bottom.

Doesn't look like impact damage but I can't figure out how you could even flex a hull in a way to crack it there without ripping the crap out of the rest of it.
