Custom/Hybrid WDK vrs Bullit hull

Looking at both of these and the price is within 500 of each other. What are the quality opinions of the both of these. Looking at the WDK Envy and a sxr based Bullit. I saw on one thread that the WDK hull used steel inserts that rusted. Is this common? thanks feel free to pm me if you wish.

just all around rec riding. Flat water and surf. I starting to think I might just lighten my hull as much as I can. Put the money into a solas pump.

Bullet Gen 1 is a trued SXR hull with tubbies built in,so if you like the SXR it is just a better one. Much stronger than a Kawi hull also. The Gen 2 has a semi v for racing. Also both are 1100 conversion friendly. High quality and Rusty has been doing it along time

the WDK inserts are cheap stainless so they do surface rust....

Ive owned 3 WDK hulls, still own one as my primary ski which I will never sell




if you order a hull from jeff, it will probably take longer to get it than he promises....

BUT

when you do get it, you will be more than pleased



no comment on the Bullitt as ive never even seen one

Thanks for the insight. I really do appreciate it. I wont need this hull till next Summer, so I just want to know if the hull will fall apart and rust or get waterlogged, etc. Basically the quality aspects of the hull. I also want to make sure that the hull dose show up at my house. Are most of the complaints due to things showing up late, or not showing up at all. I have read negatives about both hulls. I know that this can be a sensite subject, so please feel free to PM me your thoughts.

On another note, From a pure exceleration standpoint. I had a FX1 with the Bonzi pump and a Factory wet pipe. That was about 265 lbs. How can a 290 lbs after hull combo be any quicker? The FX1 hulls/skis are much cheaper.

I got WDK Envy with Yamaha motor and Kawi pump. I like it a lot. You can put Kawi or Yamaha 62T or even 66E in Envy without any modificatiions and you can talk to Jeff (owner of WDK ) if you want to use Yamaha pump - he can do it to. I deal with him couple times in the past and didn't have any problems. But I was buying small staff. You can customise your WDK ski , I don't think you can't do same with Bullet
