WDK ROK Scupper

During my last ride of the Summer I had my ski sit at the ramp for 15 minutes and it had tons of water in it. Im pretty sure it all, if not mostly came from a leaky scupper. The tray is apart right now for refoam so fortunately I am able to check out the scupper.

The scupper I think is home depot style, it is plastic, 2 piece housing with a rubber flap inside. It does leak when I run some water through it. It's not as simple as replace it, because if this happens again the only way to access it is to cut the tray. There is PVC, at half way is the scupper, more pvc, then does a 90 degree bend to exit in the pump tunnel.

Any ideas? I do park the ski for a few hours at a time. I was thinking I should replace it then block it off with a rubber expansion plug so I can remove it if I ever change my mind. Or is a versiplug good for the life of the ski if it's kept clean?

I saw the one on my Rok because it to had a leaking problem. You could replace it with a Zoeller on way valve and then put a flap on the outside. That seemed to work on mine.

I would say the leak is coming from somewhere else.Tested my one way and no problem

Im going to put another (new) home depot one way back in, plug it off and just run a bilge pump. If for whatever reason I change my mind/one way breaks i'll just put a scupper at the exit. Before the tray goes back together im going to fit the valve backwards and fill the engine compartment with water. That should say whether it's going to leak or not. Thats closest thing to real world test.

Yeah mine is back together with a replacement new one way valve from home depot. I think its going to leak but there's nothing I'd want to put inside the tray. If it becomes a issue ill just put a scupper or versiplug in the rear. I measured and made sure it fits just in case.
