WDK Rip engine mounts

Currently building a Rip and have hit a snag. I’m installing a 62t based engine in the hull that originally had Jeff’s 927 66e. All but one of the engine mounts line up perfectly except for the front on the exhaust side. It’s about 1” off. Running couch mounts. I tried loosening all the bolts to see if I could get enough room but no go. My current plan is to weld a tab onto the bed plate then drill a hole in the correct location? Unless anybody has any insight into this. Really don’t want to move the mount pad in the hull if at all possible. 45C6A0A6-AF89-4D74-819E-978888E187F2.jpeg

**Update** talked to Jeff at wdk. Said another guy (original owner of the hull) built the hull in his shop and didn’t put that mount pad in the correct spot. He made a custom mount for the 927 that was in it and recommended I do the same thing for my 62T.
