I could have gotten these 44's for under $100 (like several other sets), but nooooo, Jared and his big aussie bucks steal another set away. It's happened on pipes, carbs, etc. and I'm sick of it. can't you take a month off or something?!?!

i dont have the luxury of bidding late as its alway about 3 in the morning here when they go off
so i bid what i want to pay and leave it at that

i guess me bidding what i want to pay 3 days out kinda ruins that bid late and win it cheap practice huh

Nope ,I do the same as you .I only bid what I want to pay .
A fact is the earlier you bid the more you pay .you bid at the end no one can outbid you in stupid little increments or bid a high bid and then retract it to see what your high bid is .:banghead:

Ebay wants you to bid that way Wax ,that's why they created proxy bidding cause it drives up the price .higher price means more money for Ebay and Paypal.

if some one retracts a bid on my and then they win i report them
i have done this about 5 times and ebay had closed there account every time

I understand its not the best way to bid
but i bid and say i am happy to pay that if i dont get it i dont care

some times i will bid on something knowing that i will get out bid
i just hate watching stuff slowly crawl up

if some one puts a b-pipe on there i will bid 260 instantly
not expecting to win but getting it up to the price it should be

Ebay does not tell you the results of any complaints you lodge against people .:sneaky:
All they tell you is they will investigate the claim you make .
They never disclose any info about any claim as I've made a dozen or so about people for doing all kinds of things and it's always the same return e-mail crap .thank you for taking the time to report blah blah bah .:banghead:

retracting a bid is not a suspendable offense.
They should make it so you can't retract a bid .:arms:

but since i write the email to ebay i keep there name
funny how when you look at there name later and it says no longer a registered user

retracting a bid is not an offense
but retracting and then driving up some one elses is
also trying to find out some ones top bid so you can just pip them at the post is as well
