I'm sure this has been posted before, but I'm fairly new to "forums" and cant navigate through posts very well.

Anyways I have a complete running 1996 wave venture 701 with hull damage. Im looking to buy a RN superjet hull. missing electrics, motor and pump. I know my 701 should fit in the sj hull, minus the exhaust. But my question is will the pump fit ?? anything else i should know before i start the swap??

exhaust does not fit. Need a stock superjet exhaust and helicoil the 8 exhaust threads in the cylinder and need to get different bolts. Have to remove bottom rubber underneath the motor and reinstall the 4 long bolts. Block off the oil injection and you premix the Superjet. The pump from the wear ring back will fit yes. You will need to either put a nut on the back or thread the wear ring section. You will need a different midshaft, and driveshaft. The coupler cover is too long so either buy a superjet cover or hack the WV one down about 2 or inches. You can run the WV prop but you will probably be able to find a better prop for fairly cheap. You will need a different steering nozzle. Also you will need a longer positive battery wire. You will need a long exhaust hose, superjet waterbox, and the exhaust hose coming from pipe to waterbox.

Awesome! thanks for the all the great info. should be very helpful.

I have a stock SJ exhaust from a 2004 if you’re interested. Assume you are gonna have to score a hull first though. I do know @Blasterdre is selling a Round Nose SJ hull located in Pennsylvania.
