waveraider 701 parts swappable?

I have a 1995 701 Waveraider that is beat and the motor is good in it. It is a 62t set up but I'm wonder is that the same 62t set up in 96 and newer superjets. Will everything swap over like the electronics the carbs intake, I'm putting a b pipe on it so I dont have to worry about that. Is the pump the same size? I have a square hull laying around and just was wondering how much of the stuff actaully swapped over. Any help would be great thanks guys.

it's mostly the same. it has the 62t cylinder and case but the sj had the 62t case only and the 61x cyl. the electronics are the same eccept the raider has some extra wires that go to the display and the battery cables are shorter. the hood latches are the same and so are most of the pump parts. the bonus with the pump is the trim system.

I sold a couple of raider motors this year that went into SJ's.

The 62T cylinder has a 2.5mm higher exhaust port timing so it's not going to hit as hard on the bottom end, but it will work. If you're going to install a b-pipe on that cylinder you will have to use thread inserts in the bolt holes where the exhaust manifold bolts up because the bolt holes are larger diameter on the 62T cylinder. Also the exhaust gaskets are a bit different but the b-pipe manifold will work.

my friend has a 97 raider and i couldn't believe it but it comes stock with a 61x engine (single carb and all) the pump still has trim components but its fixed so no trim. dont understand why they would use a 62t and then go back to a 61x unless they just needed to get rid of old components.
