Waterproof Cell Phone Case

What case do you guys use for your cell phones while riding? I would like it to be waterproof and durable enough to go into the old fire extinguisher holder on my SJ. Maybe I could be able to use the phone in the case post the cases you use. Please and thank you.
One more question is it ok to put your fire extinguisher in the engine compartemnt. My ski came with 2 zip tie cirles on the bottom if the top of the hood lol, just big enough for a fire extinguisher is that a good place to put it? Thank you:arms:

I don't keep one with me, but you could check with a whitewater outfitter. They sell stuff like that. I've seen them at Wal-mart too.

i use a cell safe when i go out on my sea doo but i dont carry my phone with me on my squarenose. Its waterproof though

West Marine has a nice selection of little clear acrylic boxes that are waterproof.

I use a waterproof pouch that I hook on the hood latch... it works really well.

Well I'm guessing this is kinda the same topic...

Does anyone know of a link to a store that sells a bag that has like a lense on it for cameras?


I've seen them before but I don't know where.... it was just a waterproof bag that had a lense on it so the camera could take clear pictures... basically making any camera a waterproof camera... They weren't cheap, but cheaper than a good waterproof camera.

My parents want me to have one in case it breaks down in the middle of the lake, so they can come tow me in it's not for business.

I need the same type of case but to put a GPS in, just for the speed function, I dont care where I am.

cell phones dont always work where I ride, I have to yell, tread water, and bare some leg to get a tow.

That's where I keep my extinguisher. Works great.

I used 2 ziplock bags to keep my cell phone in and would put the bags under the strap on the tank... Kept my phone and my smokes in there... Worked well most of the time, however, after a long ride and lots of wakes the bag wore a small hole in it... Lost my cell phone to a few drops of water, but the smokes were ok other than 3 that were wet...


I now went out and spent $7 on a dry bag, and keep it in a backpack with sodas or what ever else....never look back to the ziplock bags...


That sucked, I loved that phone... mpx220...
