Cut out the goofy little toe holds in my REV hull and found wet foam, ALOT of wet foam. I would call it standing water actually. The left gunwale was practically full up to the tray, dig a hole and it would fill with water. I just about have the topdeck defoamed, put off starting on the lower half till this weekend.
Here are a couple shots when I was about 75% defoamed. Working around all the tubing sucks, and being itchy sucks so I moved on to my motor for a while.

What is the easiest way to get the foam out fast? I usually just dig it out but that sucks when the two halves are still together. I was thinking either a pressure washer or a wire wheel.

I just defoamed a squre nose. I wire wheel works really good. You can get almost everything out with that and then pressure wash it after you done to make it perfect. Are you planning on refoaming it?

I used a 1" wire cup wheel in my mini pneumatic die grinder and it worked awesome with a shop vac to suck up all the pieces.

I will go with the wire wheel first then clean it up with the pressure washer. Now that I have started tearing into this hull and can see how weak/thin it is in some places I think I am going to do some reinforcing too.

thats a bummer its waterlogged. i just picked at the foam with a screwdriver and it went quick. i used pink insulation to replace the two part foam and then i put two part foam back in to help fill the voids from the pink insulation.

The wire wheel/bucket burned through the big sections like butter but working around the scupper tube, exhaust tube, steering tube, trim tube and two cooling lines is tough so I think a pressure washer will get the rest.
Anybody know where I can get two drains? Preferably smaller than the couch ones, due to my giant exhaust outlet I am going to put them inside the pump cavity (I think).

I have seen small drains at my local ACE.
Don't know if this might work for you but I have been thinking of turning the rear ride plate bolts into drains.
Not that hard to do but they won't be in the lowest part of the hull.

Progress has been slow, just don't have the motivation when its below freezing. I've got the hull 75% defoamed. Also have purchased almost all of the parts for my new motor. The 66E was an awesome powerplant but the small tank (short ride time) sucked and the need for some extra cash pushed me to sell it. I am going back to basics with a set of ported 760 cylinders on ported 61X cases, Bpipe limited and a powerbomb. Having an investment in my motor is just not for me.
