Water injection ...Difference between jetworks and other set ups

i'm looking at adding water injection to my 951 . i'll probably go with a jet works unit . I'm just curious about the differences . Users of any systems feel free to chime in about their experiences .

Im not convinced more programming is any better. There is more to it than just the on and off points. I found the Jet Works kit worked great on my Factory Pipe but not on an old Coffman. The funny part is Art told me it wouldn't improve my Coffman pipe.

Part #16X2 is the one to use, is that the one you used Aaron?
Yes.

If you need the water turned on at 1500 rpm and the MSD can't be set below 3000 rpm then you NEED a more programmable unit. If you don't need water below 3000 then the MSD is fine.

On a side note, MSD has just come out with a laptop programmable water injection controller that does allow the "on point" to be adjusted. It also manages the pulse width (my Micro touch does not). So with the new MSD you can be on, or off, or 50% on, etc. Pricing is sketchy - one source said $300 one said $500). The Microtouch is under $150.

Different people set it up different ways, and different pipes like different things.

The Jetworks I have does pulse as it turns off. The on is preset for the B pipe. Mine comes one at 1800 rpm. I was told if you set it too low it could cause occasional problems. On mine you can adjust where it turns off
