ok have a little problem...never had a problem with water ingestion before with the stock 38mm carb on it. the bilge would pump out the water like its supposed to and i would just keep doing tricks...well i bought this 44SBN with a Fly Racing F/A and any little splash i get inside my engine compartment the carb sucks in water and the motor bogs down and sometimes dies.
now this isnt a LOT of water in there either, i'm talking about a dry hull and then 1 sub or nose stab and if it leans to the carb side BOOM the thing dies down.
Question about Fly Racing F/A...is the blue sock that fits around the F/A supposed to have some sort chemical on it that beads the water up so it drips off (like if it was soaked in oil) or is it just a covering?
