I just blew out my SN waterbox. I have a used RN waterbox in which the baffle is loose / clanging around inside. The previous owner used it without issues, says it sounded different (maybe even better!) but didn't have any problems with it.

Anyone who knows any reason that this rn waterbox and my SN should not be joined together, speak now or forever hold your peace.

I assume you mean to replace the SN waterbox with the RN waterbox...right? If so, the biggest problem you'll run into is the RN waterbox has larger inlet and outlets so the hoses you currently have won't fit.

Thanks - yes, I read up on that am am willing to deal with that aspect as required. I am just wondering if the loose baffle is a concern or not. The friend I got it from didn't have any problems with it that way, I just wanted to see if anyone else had any thoughts before I install it.
