I have a friend that works at a sign shop that wraps cars, buses, trucks, etc.. It's fairly easy to put on. I could get mine done for free, but I can't really think of any graphics I'd like. I still kind of like solid colors, but I would wrap my ski before I painted it.

a buddy of mine does this as promo for his vinyl company. a member here donated his ski as an ad for the detroit boat show. that may be a good route if you know someone looking to ad at a show.

A complete "wrap" job would retail anywhere from $500 to $900. Certainly more than I'm willing to spend for the "looks" department. Especially since I do all my own "cut" vinyl for nearly free.

Paul @ www.exoticsigns.com does wraps on cars/trucks/vans all the time.

Sanford, what would you call the B-29 inspired ski ?
You know, a name is a must.
Bahh...I'd just ride it. We don't need no stinkin' names!! :friday:

It's not a sticker material vinyl, hell, I'm not even sure if it's vinyl. It has actual stitching in it for strength from what I've seen.

I've got some ideas in the works right now and will post up again whenever I figure it all out.

We need some guys like you to do some simple graphics kits, somewhat like the ebay guy who does the shark mouth graphics, and sell them to us here for a reasonable price.

Maybe some cool X-H20 stickers. Maybe some basic YAMAHA stickers.

Maybe some tribal stuff. Maybe some flames or shark mouths.

You could make a ton off us and give us a reasonable cost alternative.

If you guys come up with ideas/examples my buddy would be more than willing to do it for you guys. The only restriction is that he only has vinyl cutters and can't print color fades or anything like that. And he's already got the file to churn out yamaha sticker as I had him do my CF number and yamaha logo on the couch. Same with the X-h20 stickers. Just let me know and I'll get him working on it.

Check out the ebay superjet graphic kits. Can he do anything like those?

I like the wrap idea. My ski is all black which is very hot to touch during the summer. I wonder if a wrap would help with the heat?
How hard is it to get the stickers off?

It's not something that you can just pull right off like vinyl. It's more like factory type stickers, but thicker, with a slight hint of fabric in there for strength.
