Getting somewhat bored of my 701 in my rn. Ive been looking at all these other combos lately but cant decide what to go with. I really like the price of jetmaniacs 781 but how does it compare to my 701 is it night and day? also see these 865's and 900's for a couple more ponies. I know it all depends on my riding level and I dont want to over due it. I think the 781 is the best option for me now I just have a feeling once I get use to that im gonna wish i bought the 865 or 900...What does everyone else think? Those of you that have had these setups chime in and let me know please.

The 865 is a great package. I am running mine with dual mikuni 46's. Pump gas, MSD enhancer and TBM flywheel. You have to factor in the cost of a magnum pump once you go to a big motor. You won't get the benefits the bigger displacement motor gives without the mag.

I can flatwater roll my pig heavy RN. Its a little much in really big surf, but in the small stuff we usually have its the perfect amount of power.

BTW mine is only on 827cc bore

Main purpose would be flatwater. I was planning on getting some blackjack 44's and the new mag pump jetmaniac has to go with the setup. Not sure if i want to mess with MSD TL but can if need be, I know its much better than the enhancer... I would like to flatwater flip/roll or atleast off a boat wake.

If your after flat water why not get an AM hull, TL, mag and carbs. There are many hulls out there that can flip and roll with that setup.

Go Bigger than what you are comfortable with. It is amazing how quick you can get used to the power. I went from a 701 rn with a few bolt on mods to an x-scream hull with XS1000 engine and I am loving it. My Next engine is the 1200. The video below is the first test drive on the ski I bought (about 2 months ago). As you can see it was more than I was comfortable with.

Haha nice, the 780 still rips hard. I have a groupk bb in a b1 and it takes my brothers rxp off the line. Of course he immediately takes me but that's groupk, the Jetmaniac package has been getting a lot of strong reviews and he's a great guy to deal with. It's great in the surf.

I would like an a/m hull, but they are just so expensive! I trying to get everything I need in my sj and eventually swap it all into a a/m hull.
How about more specs of your current setup...

My hull is shortened 3" with widen tray and everything is stock inside besides a bpipe and 9/15 hooker. Lots of other a/m parts such as steering, xscream pole lowered hood on and on...performance wise I need much more!
